Homes / Home offices / Businesses

Wi-Fi security.
A stronger defense.

Know what is connected. Test who could get in. BlackSight tests and hardens home and office wireless networks, then helps you put practical security improvements in place.

Based in Nashville. On-site availability and remote options confirmed during scoping.

Inside the assessment

Router & access points

Configuration / Access / Exposure

Work devices

Guest access

Smart devices

We check how your devices connect, what they can reach, and where access should be separated.

Test / Improve / Verify

Security that fits your network.

Choose a focused assessment, hands-on hardening, or a combined engagement. We agree the scope around the systems you use and the access you need.

Wireless penetration testing

Test whether an attacker could gain access and what they could reach once connected.

  • Wireless authentication and access controls
  • Guest and internal network separation
  • Access-point and management exposure
  • Evidence and prioritized remediation

Wi-Fi & network hardening

Put agreed improvements in place, with changes planned around your daily work and home life.

  • Router and access-point configuration
  • Firmware, encryption, and admin access
  • Guest and smart-device segmentation
  • Documented changes and follow-up options

Connected-device review

Understand the devices and services visible on your network and investigate unfamiliar equipment.

  • Inventory of visible connected devices
  • Review of exposed services
  • Verification against your known equipment
  • Findings, uncertainties, and next steps

Where we work

Beyond the network

Concerned about listening devices?

Our on-site TSCM assessments combine network analysis, physical inspection, and RF sweeps to investigate potential surveillance devices. A network scan alone cannot rule out offline or cellular-only equipment. Unfamiliar devices and signals need verification.

Before we get started.

Do you work with home networks as well as businesses?

Yes. We assess and harden Wi-Fi for homes, home offices, and businesses. The scope reflects your equipment, the devices you rely on, and how you use the network.

What is the difference between testing and hardening?

A wireless penetration test checks whether weaknesses can be used to gain unauthorized access or cross network boundaries. Hardening improves the configuration of your router, access points, and connected network. We can scope either service or combine them.

Do you make the fixes or just provide a report?

We offer hands-on hardening as well as assessment and reporting. Before work begins, we agree which changes we will implement, any planned downtime, and whether follow-up testing is included.

Does a network scan detect every listening device?

No. A network scan can review devices and services visible on the network being inspected. It cannot rule out offline recorders, cellular-only devices, or equipment on other networks. Our separate TSCM service combines network analysis, physical inspection, and RF sweeps.

Can the assessment be performed remotely?

Some configuration reviews and hardening can be performed remotely when suitable access is available. On-site wireless testing and physical or RF surveillance inspections require a visit. We confirm service availability and travel during scoping.

How much does a Wi-Fi security assessment cost?

We quote after reviewing your location, access points, network complexity, and the testing or hardening you need. The proposal sets out scope, deliverables, timing, and any remediation or retesting included.
